Things have been same ol' same ol' around here. The kids keep me busy. We've been spending lots of time playing at parks and having a good time. Amelia is so social, it's adorable to watch her make friends.
Weston is starting to talk so much, but it's still pretty unclear to anyone who's not around him all the time. He has his own little words for certain things, which is cute, but it also concerns me a little because I wonder if he thinks he's making sounds that he's not making. There are words that I'll say and he'll repeat them back in his own little words. Maybe it's just a weird toddler thing. I can't believe he's going to be 18 months in a couple weeks. Time flies!
What's with this winter? I swear we've only had maybe a total of 5 cold days this whole winter. I'm not complaining, don't get me wrong, but it's just weird. Global warming? Heh, jk. Anyway, we headed to the park this morning and played for a good hour and a half. We would have stayed longer but little Weston gets hot so easily. It was seriously mid 80s by 11am. Craziness.
Here are some pictures because I've been slacking on the updating lately. If we're friends on facebook, you've seen these.
Amelia in her stolen vest
Always picking things up off the ground
My pretty girl
Using the stick to play with my iphone
This is her angry face
Silly face
Playing in the dirt
Tricking her into looking at the camera
Fake smile
Pointing to her dimples, or trying to, at least
My big boy, exciting to be going bye bye
Happy!
He loved the merry go round, despite the vacant look on his face
Yay!
He climbed up this slide and then slid down
Manning his station at the gate
Cimbing
Pointing to the camera
Chubby bubby
Crawling through
Amelia and her toys (I straightened her hair last night...but it's not so straight today)
Big boy
He climbed up here by himself!
The silent observer
Hot baby needs a drink
Playing hard to get with the camera
"Look, a red feather!" No baby, it's a leaf.
Refusing to give up her toys (I got them from her eventually)
Up she goes!
She needed a little help
Climbing the spider web ropes
The leaf finder
My brave climber
She got stuck up there
Teeter tottering
Or something
Making him cool off in the swings
He was so hot
Big smiles
Relaxing
Ugh, I hate the sandbox...Amelia loves it
Finding treasures
She spent the rest of her time here
He always finds the broken stuff...and then has to play with it
Such a turd
Here he comes again!
Getting ready to head down the slide
Happy to be riding in the car (notice his red cheeks, omg)
Buckled in and about to leave the park
About ten minutes later and they were down for the count!
