Long time, no type.
Well, its been almost 2 weeks since I updated. Its been pretty hectic and crazy. Sep 2 was my best friends bday and we partied pretty hard that night, then workred all week long, then my bday was Sep 6. Went to the fair and air show in chesterfield that Sun. It was pretty cool, but I was dissapointed in the dusk air show; the Blue Angels apparantly dont fly in the dusk one, but I guess it was still pretty neat. Then headed out to the bars for the night to celebrate my getting older. Then it was back to work all week long, Ive picked up quite a few shifts at the chiro office the past couple weeks, so Ive been pretty busy with work. In the middle of all that, I had my court date for my ticket and thats pretty much taken care of, so thats cool. Then I went out of town with Joe for this past Sat night. That was really nice. We went to Giant City state park in IL. Its a really nice park with a ton of hiking trails and cool rock formations and really nice campgrounds. There werent a lot of other people camping in the section where we were, so it was pretty quiet. It was nice to spend some time alone with him, but we didnt really talk too much. We both have been a bit overwhelmed by day-to-day tasks and bullshit that we just sorta enjoyed the peace and quiet and being away from cell phones and offices and the hustle and bustle of city life. Sun we cooked a really good breakfast and then headed out to one of the trails for some rock-climbing. It was awesome. There are some really cool sandstone bluffs there and it makes one fell very small and meaningless to look at these huge bluffs that were formed millions of years ago. Pretty cool stuff. ANd today I have the day off, so its kinda nice to have a day just to chill after all that before I have to go back to work. I think Ill do some cleaning and finish unpakcing everything from this weekend and catch up on laundry. Hopefully thatll only take and hour or so for me to get everything done and then Ill be able to relax for the rest of the day. Maybe give Matthew a call (again) and see if hes still alive. (I havent talked to him in a week and havent seen him for like 2 or maybe 3. Ive called him 4 times now and emailed once with no reply). So, thats about it. A lot more happened than that in the last 2 weeks, but nothing important enough to note here. Hopefully things will calm down a bit now and Ill actually have some time to keep this updated.
