I'm married BITCH!!!
That's right folks! Chef and I did the deed yesterday. We tied the knot. We got hitched. We had the legal ceremony here in the synagogue. The one in Mexico is the big one though, the formal one. It's a pain in the ass to get married in Mexico and jump through all their hoops and then to get it all transferred to be legal here in the States afterward. Also, there are no Rabbis in Playa del Carmen so to do the Jewish ceremony for Steve we had to do it here so it all worked out!
I am now a Mrs. Me, a wife. Unreal, huh? I don't feel any different yet. Wonder when and if I will. I'm going to have to learn to write and sign my new last name and do all the legal name changing. I hear it's quite a pain in the bootay.
9 days until we leave for Mexico for the big ceremony. I can't wait!!! 13 days in Playa del Carmen, laying on the beach and drinking fruity frozen concoctions. Just what I need! My last day here in the office is this Friday. I will return on February 12th.
