safe and sound!
My parents got back fine! Here is the scoop-
They got dropped off by a taxi and walked up to the gate. The security guard asked to see i.d. and then looked down the lists for there names to see if they were really invited. After they got that down they walked up the circular driveway to the entrance. A very fancy butler greeted them at the door and took there coats. They walked around looking at different rooms that were open. (The Library was open and they saw the sword present the George Washington by a general!!) The saw the huge gingerbread house that was the length of a table! Took tons of pictures too! Then President and Laura Bush walked down the staircase and greeted everyone for a while. Then everyone went next door one at a time for a picture. When it was my dad's turn President Bush acted like he knew them personally. (politicians!! lol!) My dad said "well, MN looked like it was going to pull for you but....." "and President Bush laughed and agreed. Then my dad said "well, next time!" President Bush said laughingly, "Roger, there is going to be NO more next times" as Laura nodded her head visgourasly. Then the Marine Band played and they ate Lamb Chops etc. Then they left.
Tonight we are going to my cousin's concert- sounds pretty fun!
