Just finishing filing papers and cleaning out my desk. I can't believe in just 3 days (72 hrs) I will be leaving for my assignment in San Diego. Well, I already started packing for this trip. Am I ready for all of this yet? It's amazing how much time flys by and it eventually will hit you if your not too careful. Speaking about going to San Diego, I have to choose someone or few people to be part of my staff. Already I have been getting requests. Just a few minutes go I had a terror moment with Lt. Vukovic when he walked in begging and pleading for me to bring him to San Diego. I asked why? He reponsed "I like it out there". Not a good answer so I answered him with a short "no". He wasn't satisfied with my answer. Let's just put it into simpler terms. Lt. Vukovic is not the kind of lawyer I would want on my staff,Period!! Well, it's how he wins his cases that bothers me. He has a gift for finding overlooked evidence or missing witnesses not always in the most ethical manner. I thought it was quite funny how Harm and Vukovic got along with each other on their recent case in which they both won. They called themseleves the "Dream Team".

Why do all the people who I love most in life have to disappear or leave from me? Like Mic, then the Admiral(Admiral Chedwigen), and then Webb. It seems like all the people who I have been close to have some how disappeared in my life. The only one who stands here now and is not willing to let go of me is Harm. He has always been therefore me, a good friend. Maybe even more than just a good friend but we don't what to call it. Now I will be the one leaving JAG HQ and so will Capt. Rabb (former Commander Rabb).
