if anyone would like to help, we are collecting school supplies for scroggins park ministry (it's a latch-key type program for elementary and middle school kids in g-town. they're all under-priviledged and most can't afford the school supplies they need. a lot of the kids are really good, but don't always have great role models and such at home, so it's also kind of a big-brothers, big-sisters type thing.)
here's a list of the supplies, and i know for sure that meijer has like 10 cent paper packs and all the rest for really cheap.
-WIDE-ruled loose leaf paper (NO spiral or notebooks)
-No. 2 pencils
-scissors (safety scissors, please...and no jokes about the safety scissors, guys. they're not for me. and that was like 6 years ago) :D
-glue sticks
-24 pk or smaller crayons
-those little individual pencil sharpener things
-construction paper
