Total cuteness!!!!
Today I've just had an overload of cute from Buddy Luv (my new dog XD). Earlier, I took a nap, and he curled up on the bed, and didn't move the entire time I was napping! He also wants to play with our cat Kali, but she's having none of that, so he wimpers at her...aw! Right now, they are behind me on the floor about a foot or so apart from each other napping! So freaking cute!!!!
Unfortunately, a thunderstorm rolled in and prevented me from taking him on our evening walk. If it had just been rain, I would have gone, but since it had lightning, I wasn't taking the chance. I got him out into the back yard to pee before the storm really hit. We also got a collar for him and a name tag with our phone numbers on it, in case he gets out. And since he's current with all his shots, now all I have to do is go out tomorrow and get his license ^_^. Since we put the collar on him though, he's been acting kinda down...I wonder if he had a bad time with collars with his last owner. You see, I got him from the shelter. His previous owners brought him back because he was chewing on everything....He's a puppy! He's going to chew! Anyways, I think they may have beaten him...He's more skittish around men than women, and when I was trying to get him to sit, I just touched his back with my one finger, and he flinched and looked at me....Poor thing...
He's also good with my son too, even with his quirks and hand flapping and outbursts at times. He goes to my son, but when we've been out, he's been skittish with children too. And he sniffed my mother before my father too. Well, earlier we went walking, and a boy wanted to pet him, so I let him, but stayed close. He hasn't bitten anyone, but I wasn't taking the chance, just in case ya know? Well, instead of really touching him, the kid couldn't decide where he wanted to pet him, kinda spazzing out about it, and Buddy Luv tried to run away from him. I had to tell the boy that he couldn't do that if he wanted to pet him because it scared him. But all in all, he does really good on our walks. He wants to go after the birds, squirrels and rabbits though XD...but he does good walking with me ^_^. And he doesn't bark at anyone or thing while we are walking either...He kinda "humfed" at the rabbit, but that was it. The only time I've heard him make a sound was when he whimpers about Kali, or if he's in his cage and I've gone to bed, or one time I think Kali was teasing him while he was in his cage, and he barked. That's it though! I think I did well ^_^
