(no subject)
Maybe updating my journal on Christmas day is a little bit sad, but I haven’t updated in ages, so I’m about due, and I need to vegetate a little in order to make room for more food, and I’m hoping some enthusiastic typing will burn enough energy to allow that to happen.
Sooo, since my last update I’ve been out and about doing various things, reaping havoc in the usual places, with my cohort at my side, which has been really lovely, and what’s even lovelier is that there’s still plenty of holiday left to enjoy J
The Christmas run up has been fairly hectic, thanks to Emlyn’s Christmas eve’s eve party, which left us with blood and vomit stained floor boards, half a Christmas tree, and a nervous disposition to the pokèmon theme tune… So, all in all, was a success for him….
Anyway, today’s been lovely, if not uncomfortable at times, as we all sat round the dinner table, with Emlyn; Viking helmet clad, Brain Haemorrhage Gavin, (who should be awarded a prize, for being able to talk about ones dog for almost 6 hours straight, although he’s now left to walk poor ol’ Bud, but, rest assure, he will be back…) and mum, making sexual innuendoes about giblets in front of him..
Actually, thinking about it, Gavin has actually been missing for about three hours…so, let’s hope he’s not lost please…
Anyway, to be fair, it has been lovely, and much less depressing than any of us thought, apart from maybe the phone call from Nana, but that doesn’t count…
Also, am very impressed with my presents from Sime’s mum!! So, well done her, for finding the most gorgeous bag!! And also, thankyar Sime for your lovely array of randomness!
And, I was going to write about more things, but I;ve been distracted by the endless fun and possibilities of combining a Viking helmet and strawberry laces…
