My poor Sammygirl has the sniffles. I don't know if it's allergies (it's so dry and windy here right now), a cold (a friend's little girl who I saw Friday has the sniffles and they aren't sure if it's cold or allergies), or teething. She's due for her next set of teeth soon, I think. Her nose is running like a faucet! I wish she would just figure out how to blow her nose, lol!!
As you can imagine, this isn't helping the sleep situation. It's still pretty rocky. Last night she kept waking every 45 minutes until I couldn't get her back down in her crib at 12 so I brought her to bed with us. She was so stuffly, she could barely nurse since that requires breathing through her nose. My mother-in-law and my friend with the 11 month old both have gently suggested we let her cry but that just isn't going to happen. We'll deal with it and it'll pass soon enough.
We introduced yogurt yesterday. I bought plain and mixed it with homemade peaches. Yesterday she liked it, today she acted like we were poisoning her. We'll see how tomorrow goes :) I think we might wait a little bit more before giving her cheese since Ryan has a bit of a lactose intolerance. Supposedly yogurt and cheese are still easy enough to do now but what are a few more weeks.
I think we're about to book a trip for January! I've been itching to do a winter trip someplace cold so I started looking into rental properties in Big Bear, CA. I found an awesome place that has 3 bedrooms, a fireplace, spa tubs and an outside spa on the upper deck, a pool table, home theater, and even dsl. If we go we'll split it with our friends. I can't wait to see what Sammy thinks of snow!
Nothing new on the house. Are they ever going to start?
