Long time, no post.
Hey, sorry if any of you have been worried or wondering where I've been. I can't seem to get on here as much as I'd like to anymore. Facebook has been easier to get on to these days so if you'd like to add me there feel free to pm me here with ur email address attached to your fb (or just pm me your facebook.com/username) and I'll add you. Facebook is just so much faster to check/update. I enjoy keeping a blog, but being a new mom and now we're moving doesn't leave me much time for myself.. and if I do get a minute I usually need to eat/clean/shower/get a drink.... lol
Anyway things are going great here. Iz just turned over to 3 months. She's laughed out loud a couple of times, babbles when she finds her voice, is holding her head up a lot more, is starting to enjoy tummy time, She's fascinated with puppies and kitties and if she is being held up and the tv is on she will turn her head as far as she can to see it.... little stinker. I try not to let her watch tv, but hey I might zone out for a second myself and then I'll look at her and she's just starin at the screen and then I turn her away and start talking to her again.
Easter was lots of fun. It was good to see my grandmas. They are so tickled with Izzie. It's so nice to be home to have that opportunity to go down to my parent's and kevin's parents' houses and just hang out, eat good food and be together.
My brother had his 30th bday party last weekend and it was our first night out together. :) I was a little nervous leaving Izzie with grandma tracy (kevin's mom), but I made it through. I only broke down and called at 1 am cause we decided to stay over at our friend's house for the night cause she had a spare bed for us and tracy didn't and I wanted her to know where we were and not watching for us to come home from the bar in an hour. Plus, we'd been drinking and didn't have a sober cab there, unless she came to get us. It was fun though and some much needed mommy and daddy time. We did get up at like 7 though, because she usually sleep through the night already (YAY!) and wakes up at 8 most of the time. And sure enough she did and I was there with a smile and she had no idea I had even been gone for so long, so that made me feel a lot better :) <3
HOWEVER.. grandma got her hooked on rocking to sleep. and I can't get her to go down with out it... *grumble* I'm sure with time and patience I will break it, but I can't believe it only took one night of it for Izzie to become attached to the idea. Owell, hakuna matata.
oh, I almost forgot..
WE BOUGHT A HOUSE! We closed on it yesterday! :D
It's a cute little 2bdrm, 1bath with a "den" in the basement. It could be a bedroom, but there isn't an egress window. It came with all the appliances and just needs some pretty standard updating for house this old. Windows, AC, carpet in the bedrooms and basement. and... PAINT! YAY! No more white walls I'm so excited. We're going to get started on it this weekend. :)
Tonight is our first night in the house. It wasn't everything it could've been, but we made it work. Izzie was an absolute cranky pants. She was so tired she didn't know what to do with herself. And if we had been at the apartment I would've put her in the swing, cause that normally does it, but we were here and so I had to moby her. Which I don't mind, but it took almost an hour of walking around and singing to her for her to finally pass out. I felt so bad it made me want to cry.
She's not always a crying baby though. Don't get me wrong, we have lots of fun together and I love being a mom. :) <3

Anyway she is stirring a bit so I think I'm going to check on her and then head to bed myself. Gotta get some rest sometime...
