3d Scan!
Things are going much better here. We've finally caught up on bills and we'll go get groceries on Sunday. (We've been living off of eggs and bread...) Anyway, I completed some crochet stuff and had a 3D ultrasound! I didn't know that they just did those at the hospital, I thought you had to get them done at some place special. I'm so excited for this baby, he/she is just so freakin cute! I have to say, looking at the 3D scan the baby look like Kevin, but has my nose. My mom and I also went through my old baby stuff and I have like several bags of stuff, including another crib set, baby monitor and a wipe warmer (which I didn't think is really a necessity, but my mom said my sister absolutely HATED cold wipes and when she started using the warmer she stopped screaming during changes, so I guess it'll be nice to have!)
Tomorrow I'm going to be going shopping with my gf Mary, who is putting on the baby shower. We're going to go get stuff for the shower and do the invites. It's only a month away! I can't believe that this baby will be here in about 3 months! It's just insane! I turned over to 7 months today and I'm into my 3rd trimester! I don't feel toooo huge yet. I definitely have a baby bump, that's for sure, but I don't feel really too big. I did gain 2 lbs tho! Thank the lord! I was starting to worry. I had my GD test and passed with a 112 (135 is the cut off) and they tested my hemoglobin (Iron) and I was borderline (11.1, 11 is the cut off) and was told I either need to eat more red meat or go get a supplement. I think I'll just get the supplement considering our eating habits. Better to be safe then sorry and baby needs all the nutrients it wants! Lil nugget is right on for length and weight. 1.75lbs and in the 54th percentile for length (however much that was, I don't remember the number). Also the heartbeat was 153bpm. So we're still in the middle. I give up trying to figure out if it's a boy or a girl. We'll just have to wait and see!
I have to go in and get my gall bladder and liver tested. I've been having really bad pain in my upper abdomen that goes through to my back. It hurts so bad it makes me nauseous. :( So hopefully we figure out what it is. I'm hoping it's just my gallbladder and as long as I watch my diet I'm okay, but if there's a stone or infection that could be a problem. I think I'll be okay though. I've been really watching what I've been eating and haven't had an attack since last weekend (which was triggered by a handful of french fries that I couldn't resist... bad ME!) The time before that was on Thursday and it was triggered by pork roast, which was what made me think gall bladder, because my mom had the same issue with pork and had to have her gall bladder removed.
I'm going to go try to get some sleep though I'm super tired after writing this. So hopefully I'll fall asleep!
