feeling low...
well, ellie has been really poorly, off school thurs, friday, today, with flu/virus and ear infection. we went to the doctor on friday as she had been delirius quite a few times on thursday & in the night. she has amoxycillin for the ear, which has given her dodgy guts.
saturday night we were supposed to go to a 40th birthday party, on a boat on the thames. mum-in-law was to have girls over night & take them to church parade sunday morning. so andy goes & I stay at home with girls, then andy takes amy to parade for 10am (!) so we have no night a-deaux and no lie in. then in the afternoon I HAVE to go to divisional church parade (grrrr). so the weekend was a write-off, but at least ellie was a wee bit better...
today however, she has laid on sofa all day, not well at all. so I haven't been able to go out, or get any housework done, as I've had to be near (and quiet, when she was sleeping). she's got a cough/wheezy, but won't have her puffer. she's moaning/whining about aches/pains/being hot, but won't have any calpol. she won't eat, won't drink much. I made some lovely homemade thick soup i the slowcooker, but she won't taste it, despite my offering to feed her.
I just feel so bloody FRUSTRATED. was the last brownies tonight before easter, but I couldn't go. sometimes being a mother is BLOODY HARD WORK. and my hair's dirty. bah!
