Thanks. I woke up this morning with doubts about coherency.

I really have to write something with a well adjusted Sarah Jane at some point.

I like this, with Sarah not coping. And it works well as a series of little bits. Which I'd be able to put more clearly if I currently had a brain (too much alcohol, too little sleep for the past 5 days).

I noticed one Americanism - apartment is called flat here.

Glad you liked it. This wasn't at all what I was planning on working on yesterday, but I woke up with it rolling around in my brain.

That. Yeah. Actually the best fic I've read in a long time, and it's so, so perfect. Tears definitely welled up. It's bittersweet and so how I imagine Sarah now. Thanks for writing it.

I'm still shocked at how well people are responding to it.

It came together so easily compared to the other bits I'm working on which keep getting tweaked and fiddled with cause they're not quite right yet.
