Writing Unexpected - Shameless self-plug.
I'm not going to repost it here, but I just posted a long rambling post in my journal about writing Unexpected, what I chose to leave out of the story and why. There are spoilers for the story involved, and if you're heavily invested in the Sarah/Doctor OTP, you might not want to read it, but I thought some people might be interested.
I do throw out some tidbits about future stories to be written in that world, and a note about my next long epic.
And just to make this a bit more legitimate, I don't remember if I posted here, but I joined dwicons100 with a subject of Sarah Jane Smith, and I'm almost halfway done with the table of 100 icons. I've started using a few to post with, but here are some teasers:
