weekend update
Darren and Alicia came in this weekend from Fort and it was so much fun. Friday night we had 12 people crammed into Steve's apartment for fondu which was very tasty. We discovered last time that deer sausage is the shit for fondu! It's so incredibly tasty.
Saturday we did a bit of shopping around town and then went to Derrick and Vanessa's new place for the night. Steve, Nikki and I stayed there, but the rest had a DD and crashed somewhere else. We went for breakfast yesterday but it was awful. That's the third time we've gone for breakfast with Derrick and Vanessa after a night of drinking and it sucked. And every time we try a new place. We decided that next time, when we do a beer run before the party, we'll pick up bacon and eggs and do it ourselves in the morning.
Two weeks ago (if not longer) I told my mom and dad that I wanted to get my nose pierced, regardless if they thought it was a good idea or not. My mom, to my utter shock and amazement, thought it would look cute and be a good idea. But of course, when I got it done Saturday and came home to get my stuff before going to Derrick and Vanessa's, she ripped a strip off of me right infront of Nikki. She will always find a way to be unhappy with me. I tell her in advance I want to get it done so it won't be "a complete shock" and she still loses it. I have no time for her bullshit anymore. I spent all day yesterday with Steve just to avoid her. I have some pics on my friend's camera of my ring. I'm putting in the stud this Friday. The recomend 4 weeks with the ring before you change it, but I was talking with a coworker that has one and she said she changed it to a stud after a couple days. She's going ot help me do it if I think it's healing well enough. I'll post pics of that when I do it. Anyway, back to work I go. ttyl
