Update...
We are moving! Whoohoo! Finally getting out of the Hood (Pontiac) and moving into Suburbia (Madison Heights).
Damon's room is the second floor of the whole house. The kitchen is huge and newly remodeled with room for a kitchen table. We've gone without one do to size contstraints for two years now so this is a huge deal! The backyard is fully fenced and escape proof so the dogs can finally run free with no fear of escaping. I think Harley Houdini's days as an escape artist are over! And there's a little room across from the master bedroom perfect for a nursery! The elementary school is only half a block away. Perfect! We're pretty psyched. We get our keys mid-week and Ken's going to take boxes with him when he goes to work then drop them off at the new house on his way home over the next week or so. We are hoping to move the rest in on the weekend of the 25th.
Our first anniversary is coming up on Sunday, the 19th. I want to laugh at everyone who thought we wouldn't make it through our first year of marriage. Hah! We win!
Friday and Saturday are going to be awesome. Rich is going to be in town with his band Woven...my favorite band. I haven't seen them in five years and this will be the first time that I've actually seen them play.
