Spent a lovely day in New Hope this past Friday with Alex, Lauren, and her boyfriend Mike. Alex drove us in his Jeep and it was beautiful, barreling down the highway with the canvas top down and music blaring. We arrived around 6pm and the sun was still up, so we spent the last hour of sunlight or so just enjoying all the shops. I was teetering around in my 6 inch high Betsey Johnson platform wedges but they're fucking cute so I dealt with the small near death experiences every time I moved. And they made me 5'10" so, duh, it was worth it.
Gorgeous restaurant in New Hope -- don't recall the name
I surprisingly didn't really purchase much. Bought 3 prints from a poster place: a Breakfast at Tiffany's print, a classic pin up girl art print (unsure of the artist), & what I THINK is an Alphonse Mucha print but it's definitely done in the Art Nouveau style. Sue me if I'm wrong, ALRIGHT? But that was it. And Alex purchased some deadly looking dagger but I kept myself away from it, as a girl stumbling in wedges is not knife proof.
The Breakfast at Tiffany's print; Alex made fun of me because it looks like a worship altar but I just like candles and pretty things! :|
