I have a headache. I was just informed that my philosophy essay is due at the end of this week, and not the end of next week like I thought. This normally wouldn’t be a problem, especially considering it’s only Monday, except I devoted this week to understanding my other philosophy class, which at this time seems completely incomprehensible. The good news is that I really don’t have to go to my classes today. I normally don’t like skipping my classes, mostly because it becomes a habit, but today it does not impact my life whether I’m there or not. Spending my time in the library isn’t as fun as it used to be. Now that it’s midterm time it’s packed all the time. I came in here over the weekend when it opened and could hardly find a seat. This is not good.
I feel like I’m falling asleep. It doesn’t seem to matter how much sleep I get, if I’m awoken in the early morning I’ll be tired all day. I’ve been waiting to get a coffee but the last two times I checked the Tim Horton’s line it was almost out the door. At this point getting a coffee is not worth freezing my ass off every time someone opens the door, then again something tells me I’ll be useless without caffeine. Maybe I’ll just take the plunge and put on my coat to go wait in line.
