on wednesday, we were supposed to find out who won for junior class officers. And we didn't- so then they had us do a re-count for the sgt at arms because they misspelled someone's last name

I had worked my butt off in choir and could feel myself getting better. Everyone said i was a shoe-in for madrigals. I was starting to feel better at the time and thought that this would kind of continue my step out of this time in my life. I didn't make it. Not only did i not make it, Weaver told me on the last day of school that i was good enough to, that i had the best work ethic in the class, and that i could handle it.. he just wanted me to wait a year.
Like a true lame-o it upset me majorly (as in crying) for 2 days and pretty upset in general for over a week. Then summer happened and it got better. We got to school and i was upset again.
But the point of this mondoly long story is that i've had the most awesome junior year. It has been so much fun and this thing that i thought defined it really didn't. I didn't need it to rock hard core. There were times when i'd notice that i wasn't a madrgial and long for it, but i made awesome friends. I became really close with a lot of them too. They have made a world of difference in my life.
So i mean i guess i just want you to know how much i really was in your situation this time last year, and how great stuff has turned out. It depends on the person. And you're an awesome person, so i know you'll overcome stuff and manage to have an excellent high school experience.
