cookies, cakes, and cream puffs!
this weekend was kinda fun. i didn't really do anything. on friday- i came home from school, and then i was going to go to john's track meet, but it was canceled because of weather. apparently (according to john) "kammerer is a bunch of pussies" and canceled the meet. haha. so jordan stopped by on the way home from doing a chemistry lab, and so we made chocolate chip cookies. and then ate some of them.
then like right after that, clay came over and we watched "waiting" which was pretty hilarious. some parts were kinda gross, but over all i give it thumbs up. and then we just watched t.v. it was nice to just cuddle with him. :)
so then i woke up at 7:30 to be at ballard at 7:45 saturday morning for science olympiad. and that was okay. i think the best part was when amanda and i were cracking up because we didn't know what the heck we were doing. in fact at one point i turned to amanda and asked her, "okay there are two ways we can do this. we can actually look at the chemicals and make educated guesses as to what they are, or we can play with chemicals." and then amanda replied, "play with chemicals." it was so funny- in forensics, we just tested the pH of all the unidentified chemicals, and then then made educated guesses...in addition to mixing some acids together. that was fun. and we also lit this candle that we had no clue what it was for, but we lit it anyway....it was kinda like mood lighting.
after that, i had to go home and take a shower before my family and i (sans marie) when to go see katie's musical. they performed godspell, and it was nothing short of amazing. i'm not even exaggerating. it was hard to see that these were college students. it was so good! and the guy who played jesus carried the show. and katie was just soo good! i was so happy. when she does things like this, and then we go and support her- she gets giddy and bubbly. it was fun and entertaining to say in the least.
sunday morning i woke up around like 10 or so, and then i did some homework and messed around on the computer. at like 7 or so, jordan and i decided to go on a walk. well, first i was trying to get him to go to the youth group at my church with me. i've never been before, and i thought it would be fun- but i didn't want to go by myself. so i was trying to convince him to go- but he wouldn't buy it, so he suggested that we go on a walk...which we did, and then went to clay's house. we were like sneaking around, and so we (or should i say jordan) decided to call clay and be like, "so jordan and i have this bet. i say that you can see starbucks from your bedroom window and jordan says that you can't." so clay would look out his window, and see us. it was hilarious! clay didn't see us at first, and so we were just starring at him looking in another direction. jordan was like, "sarah!" hahaha. guess ya had to be there...
well, today i made cream puffs. i copied the recipe out of a southern living magazine at work. they were pretty good. but i already ate like three...
i really want to go to the spanish club meeting on wednesday- there is gonna be dancing. yay! talk about exciting!
