At the shrine of Saint Kitten
While I was sewing up pillows last night I watched one of my all-time-favorite-though-watched-too-infrequently movies - Breakfast on Pluto.
Its just such a pretty movie. [When I'm working on crafty stuff I seem to gravitate towards bright, colorful films to have on in the background - seems reasonable.]
I'm not too into 70's fashion but man, Patrick Kitten Braden has some seriously gorgeous coats (though there's a little too much fur for my taste).
This song is in the movie at least once, maybe twice and it's been running in my head all night and all during the walk trip to work this morning. I sang some of it to Megan, she was impressed by my professional-level singing skills. She offered me a record deal and we are now on our way to motown to cut my first single - wait, that didn't happen... but we did go out to breakfast (on earth).
Anyway, this song makes me haaaaaaaaaaaappy.
Cillian Murphy makes a beautiful woman.
If only there were enough time and money to be as glamorous as a beautiful fictional transvestite hero(ine).
