First day internship assignment
Today I emailed my internship supervisor to remind her that I would be starting work on monday. I set the internship in March and I wanted to make sure they remembered I was coming. I receieved the following email:
"Sarah: We're very excited you will be interning at PPNWO during the summer. Sherita would like to have you meet her on MONDAY, MAY 19 @ 8:15 a.m. at THE JUICE RADIO STATION. If you are unable to make that time & place, please let me know. Thank you!"
For those unfamiliar, The Juice is the ghetto hip hop station in Toledo. I am the whitest person alive and my internship is as a HIV risk reduction specialist. Should be interesting!
