Summer has been going alright.

Stats class is done! I got an A. wooo! :) I'm not even all that great at math. Hard work does pay off sometimes.

A couple of days before Matt's birthday, we had a talk and things are a lot better with us. I went to the wedding with him last weekend. It was beautiful. We danced, his father danced with me (AWW) and I met some really great people. Matt seemed really happy that I was there with him. It was kinda a big deal since he's never brought a girl to any of these family events. I feel so honored. :) The next day, we went to his nephew's birthday party. He just turned two, and he is so adorable. It was definitely a great weekend.

Just a few more weeks until the big move to Boston! I'm anxious (as always) but things are starting to come together. I'm registered to take some pretty interesting classes. I'm taking International Health, Introduction to Social Research I, Race Gender and Health, and French. I'm really really excited to start my classes! Also, I got my rooming assignment. My roommate seems really cool (so far). She's a nursing major, transferring from SUNY buffalo. I can't wait to finally meet her. We got into Beacon St apartments! I'm SO excited. I had thought that it wasn't going to work out and I'd have to get an apartment. But, this is definitely a much better situation! :) We have our own bathroom and free laundry! And, I will be much closer to Matt. So excellent!

Lots of plans for the rest of my summer have been smashed. I was so looking forward to going to Maine for PJ's birthday. However, one of the people I work for at the retirement home really needs me to help her get ready for her granddaughter's birthday party, and she's willing to pay me double. So, I really can't turn that down. THEN, I was thinking that I could just head up to Maine early in the morning on Saturday but mom got all upset that I wouldn't be at uncle Tommy's 65th birthday party. Guess what? Mom won. Family stuff has to come first, sadly. I don't know. It's just me being pulled in too many directions. Not me wanting to be anywhere more than others. I love all of them.

Hmm, what else? OH, mom had a big big interview today. It was for a job working with school groups at the currier museum of art! AND, she most likely got a second interview! I'm sooo happy for her! YAY. It would mean her being a lot more happy, and NOT selling the house soon! I'm not ready for her to sell the house that I've grown up in, as selfish as that might sound. I love this house, and I love this town.

Alright, that's all for now. :)
