summer closing

summer is coming to a close.
no more long days out in the sun
instead long days in un air conditioned schools

I am excited though
new year
new friends
new teachers
old friends
and old teachers.

another perk is fall
and the fall musical
long nights, with a bitching coreographer
and the amazing dean the meanie

divas and to cool for school stage crew
sore bones and high spirits

sing along songs and horrible auditions
" get out of the cage"
" get your buts on stage"
" what do i do with you freaks"
and my favorite.
" we have microphones everywhere, and we can hear you"

pranks and cast parties
crazy hook ups, and mesy break ups
hard to break bubbbles
and drama club sabatage plans

little nicknames
for the ones we love to hate and
the ones we hate to love
admiration for all
and last but not least

break a leg
and "great show"
