Aw dang, I'm sorry. It's been while since I last posted and though I have several excellent excuses, er, reasons, there's no excuse for treating you so badly. I apologize, baby, it'll never happen again. You know I still love you, right? Sometimes I just get so ANGRY...no, no that's not right. It's not your fault, I shouldn't take it out on you. Forgive me.
All abusive relationship jokes aside, it has been a while since I last posted. The reason for this is, I think, pretty obvious. When I first got to Japan, everything was crazy and new and I was making all these new friends and going to all these places I'd never been before, so everything had to be documented here. Buuuut, now that I've been here for almost nine months now, and I'll be going home in three, living in Japan has gotten much less crazy, much less journal-worthy. A night out in Ina or a trip to Matsumoto just doesn't have that, "OhMyGodI'mInJapanThisIsSoFreakin'Sweet" flavor to it anymore. On the other hand, I did have an interesting weekend and I've got a ton of new pictures to show you, so all is not lost.
In addition to the growing ennui, I've also got a cold which has prevented me from doing anything but curling up in bed and watching DVDs through a hazy cloud of sinuses. So if you want to blame anything, if you're looking for a scapegoat, blame it on this cold. My current efforts to smoke it out with orange juice have not yet born any fruit.
