...sit here until something finds me.

I like how when I pull into the driveway of my house, it looks like the house is glowing with someone's presence. But Len left the bedroom light on. And of course, I always leave my office light on. Strange, because I like darkness. No, love darkness. I also love this cooler weather.
So here I am waiting for Len to come home. I'll do some reading soon. That's what I'll be doing all day tomorrow. On Thursday, I'm hopefully going to Te Cafe after class for a poetry reading. Also, this Saturday, Len and I plan on attending a jazz poetry concert in Pittsburgh. It's free, so why-the-hell not? Sarah likes jazz. Sarah likes Lady. Sarah would like a kiss to build a dream on.

I've been writing, of course. But there is a fiction-story brewing in my head. It's not all fiction, mind you. It's based off my mother and a horrific happenstance. Horrific in her opinion. My mother is miserable. Her arm is purple and she barely does a thing all day...

I picked up dog shit today...

And she is so restless, she can read only two pages at a time. She can't go to work. Doctors are charging dollars for only a few minutes of "Well..."

Geez. But I like the rain. I feel like making some jewelry. I don't know how to spell jewelery. I think I had it right the first time. Tomorrow I'll make something. If I make anything pretty, I'll post it. And you can buy it. Put some money in my pocket.

Working at Barnes & Noble has been good. I can borrow any hardcover book for two weeks. I think I'll borrow The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch. Has anyone read that yet? It's such a shame that he died. Was down there by Carnegie Mellon on Saturday. Len and I visited the library and took random pictures. We went to the Cathedral of Learning and mused that it would be the perfect place to commit suicide. In the Cathedral of Learning, there are several rooms that represent different countries. Len and I went to Isreal, Japan, India, Ethiopia, and China. Others were locked.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to....(fill in the blank).
