Oh Africa. Where are you? Only Atlanta, Georgia for now. Today started the amazing trip. My parents woke me up with my dad flashing the camera in my face, making sure to capture every moment of my departure. i'm really - REALLY upset that i didn't get to see you before your trip. i thought maybe you were ignoring me since you didn't reply to my comment about getting together... but i so truly hope that isn't it. i'm sure you were just super busy, but if somethings wrong pleeeeeease tell me!

anyway, you are going to have such an amazing experience that i don't think i could possibly be more jealous. be safe and have fun, and do all the things you wouldn't normally do. live it up.
