Peterborough it is.
You know, I can get excited about Peterborough. There are lots of cool things about it. It is cheap(er) to live there than Toronto, though not as cheap as it used to be, and it has a small but cool arts community, that I didn't get involved enough with when I was there at school. I may be able to do some work at the university, don't know, though, the people I had expected would be interested in helping me didn't seem to want to get involved in trying to get me hired. But I'll try again when the job postings come around for TAs and such. I can try (my best) to get involved in the kind-of-exclusive theatre community there, because there are some cool writers and performers and I already kind of know some of them from when I lived there. I can do some stuff on Trent Radio, another thing I never did when I was there before.
I'm a bit worried about getting a job that is not at Dairy Queen though. So could those of you who know people in Ptbo please ask them to keep their ears open for me! I'd really like to not have to work in the food service industry, if possible, but you know, whatever.
And, GAH! It is summer suddenly. Too beautiful. Too much SUN. I don't know how I am to get my work finished under these ridiculous conditions.
