Play Date is done
Okay, so it's not "done" done, but I wrote at least something for every scene and now I have 82603 words.
That leaves 17k to fill, and I don't know if I ought to start with the next book or not. I don't really have that one fully plotted out yet, so... I can at least tell you my working title, though, it's "Sin City". I've got an A plot for it, and a C plot, and there is a pretty snippet of backstory that I want to explore (I only just thought of it today), but I'm yet lacking a B plot. B plot could be something about my morgue attendant, whose possible recurring status is still up in the air. I still need to cement his and Skye's friendship somewhat.
On the other hand, I've also wanted Skye to fuck over someone who really cares about her, just 'cause she's that kind of person. Now how do I piece all that together with a story about a drug empire from Southern California?
I guess I could just write out my A plot (even if I'm not sure about how that goes down exactly either) and just piece it together later.
Or I could post a rambling post about the whole issue in my LJ and hope that brings the enlightenment I require.
