I *finally* shipped the second
paper beater I've been working on. And I got paid for it. Woot! I even made a tiny little profit.
Now I can pay off the line of credit I opened to build these things in the first place.
In packing news: I have more than half of my basement packed up and ready to go. It's odd to me that all of my tools are boxed away where I can't get to them. Ah well, I'll have a new work space soon. Sarah's been working on upstairs stuff, sorting through all the piles of random junk that piles up after a few years. It's great to be rid of some of that stuff.
I wish the lawyer would get back to me. There's only two business days left and I still haven't had a reply to my e-mail and voice messages. I'd just like to know that I have everything in place that needs to be in place, with the closing date so soon. I'm sure it will all work out in the end.
Found out today from the chief pipe fitter at work that the septic stack vent at the new house is completely undersized. I thought code required a 1.5" pipe, but he insists it needs to be a full 3" pipe all the way up and through the roof. I guess I'll have a little more renovation work than I thought. I really don't mind though since it's our place and not a rental.
Sarah's sister Heather moved out today. She's been living here for two months or so, looking for work and a place to rent downtown. I like Heather, but I'm glad to have Sarah back. I missed her.
If I'm going to miss traffic in the morning, I'd better make a dash for bed.
