This has been a pretty awesome weekend! Lots of adventures and crazy things! Too my dismay Andy has been away, but he's still the greatest boyfriend ever and gets googly eyes like this: @.@
First, Friday Kelli, Amanda, Michael and I went out for sushi. Yellowtail is my fav as of now. Was a moderately healthy dinner preparing for the following morning.
And what was to come on Saturday morning? Boot camp! Okay, so not regular boot camp, it was an exercise boot camp. My work has been sponsoring employees to go through a six-week program, but unforutnately I heard about it too late to join. But I was invited to do a free session Saturday morning. omg, can I tell you that I literally forgot that air existed? When we got there, there was about 20ish people, and they all looks like they were fitness instructors. We start going and I'm in the dust!
Later I found out that the Quintiles version of the boot camp program is about 6 times less intense than what we went through. That made me feel better, this session was meant for advanced boot campers. I seriously have no idea how Andy did this for months and months in real boot camp. And at least our instructors were encouraging, whereas his were harsh. O.o? Kudos to you, boyfriend.
Anyway, after the hour of boot camp we were dead. They said that the jogging part was supposed to be when you got air. Last time I checked, jogging was another way to rob me of air, so it didn't exactly work out well. Especially because the jogging part was up and down a hill!
After boot camp, Kelli, Amanda and I got a fun day of healthy-kid food, movies and gossip.
For those who haven't heard, ATL was slammed with storms on Friday and throughout Saturday. This was the first time I've ever heard tornado alarms in real life. It hit about six miles south of Kelli's apartment, which is about 25 miles south of my house. Midday I went and checked on the house and the cats, but all was well. Lots of tree litter, but all trees still standing and accounted for.
Spent the evening watching scarey movies and acting like girls (hiding our faces during the scarey parts and such) and drinking margaritas. Mr. Jose Cuervo and I are becoming okay friends again after a nasty fight my stomach had with five shots of him with lime and salt a few weeks ago. We've haven't been right since, but we are working our relationship back slowly.
With all that excitement on Saturday, what could cap this weekend of adventure? My tattoo!!! Unforutnately, this is the only picture I have right now and its all red around the edges. That's all gone now and now its just the black. Mireilly took a bunch of pics of me during the process, but I dont have them yet.
Naturally my resistence to change kicked in about half hour after the tattoo was done, but just like i did with my new hair cut last week, i'll get over it in a day. I just know how lucky I am to have Andy, because he's been putting up with my worrisome self and telling me that he loves me no matter how it turned out. ^_^ I love him!
