The Toronto International Film Festival is almost here and I bought another ten ticket pass, which means I get advanced selection for any of the regular screenings. Here’s what I chose:
Sept. 5th
8:30 - Burning Plain
- Guillermo Arriaga’s directorial debut (he wrote Babel)
Sept. 6th
6:00 - Nick & Nora’s Infinite Playlist
- hahahaha okay I am ONLY seeing this because of my love for Michael Cera… and hopefully he will be there.
9:00 - Religulous
- This will be a good one to see at TIFF!
Sept. 7th
9:15 - Zach & Miri Make a Porno
- Kevin Smith!
Sept. 8th
9:30 - Lymelife
- IMDB said it’s good… so we’ll see.
Sept. 9th
8:30 - Synecdoche, New York
- Charlie Kaufman’s directorial debut!
Sept. 10th
8:00 - Il y a longtemps que je t’aime
Sept. 11th
9:00 - Me and Orson Welles
- Directed by Richard Linklater (Dazed & Confused, Before Sunrise)
Sept. 12th
9:00 - Public Enemy Number One
Sept. 13th
8:30 - Miracle at St. Anna
- Directed by Spike Lee
I also have a few second choices but I can’t remember what they were… So yeah. That’s that.
