second time around
last week i gave the old guy across the street a copy of the estimate for the bodywork required to fix the damage to my car--about $850. i talked with him on monday, and he said he wanted me to get a second estimate from his guy. ugh. so i got the second estimate this morning, after waiting 40 minutes for someone to show up. THEN they charged me $10 for the estimate, which ended up being just over $1300. so much for the second estimate. plus this place is just not convenient for me.
anyway, i'll pass this off to the old guy and see which estimate he actually wants to pay. if he wants a third estimate, i'm gonna tell him to shove off.
