Hey you guys, I'm home again, I can't believe its only been a week, it feels like a lifetime! But I have had so much fun, although I did miss you all lots! So my week, for the benefit of those who have time on their hands: two days by coach, arrive in Lloret de mar at around 7.00pm on thursday night, Spanish weather, wonderful thing :oD. Day one-Visit Montserrat (the serrated mountain, a.k.a. Dr. Evil's Mountain to us!) sang in the basilica, walked up the mountain, then to the 'Cordonui' vinyards and wine cellars - 30 km and 5 floors of Cava, me and Jess were thinking maybe a party down there one day ;op and some free cava to taste - hate it, but you never say no to a free drink now do you? hehe! Day two- off to Barcelona, visited the 'Sagrada Familia' (Spain's answer to the Eifel Tower) climbed to the top, horrible and never again thank you very much! - 800 steps; 400 up, 400 down, all very enclosed and spiralling both ways I was shaking for an hour after!! Then to the 'Gothic Quarter' to see the Cathedral and shop!! Visited the Spanish summer sales, and I mean sales - we got tops in Mango for around about £2.50!!!!! Then off to Tossa de mar (we had fun with that one!) for the first open air big band concert on a cliff under a lighthouse, seriously fun! Day three- spent the morning faffing about in Lloret, buying random cheap schtuff *big grin* thenoff to Barcelona in the afternoon-to see some castle or other, the Barcelona 1992 Olympic Stadium (which we looked at through a gate as it turned out to be closed lol!, still a v impressive sight though!) and then to Parc Guell-designed by Gaudi to be a 'Garden City' - rock on Letchworth we beat him! lol! very pretty, except one small thing I happened to unwillingly catch a glimpse of! The back to the Cathedral to perform, the most amazing experience, I feel very proud! And after the concert, off to the Spanish equivalent of Pizza Express ('Pizza Marzano') for a slap up meal and a good laugh! Day four (last whole day)- visit to Water World in the morning, swimming pools and rides etc. -wasn't in a v swimmingy mood relly, so sunbathed and read which was fun :o) then to Girona, random shopping, Ailsa was pickpocketed in a shop :o( - had her purse and 70 euros nicked, clever bastards that did it grrrr! Then to Forma de selva (I think thats right...) for the last concert, partied hard then back to hotel and up to the bar, got trashed, seriously you guys would love it-half the price and double the vodka is all I'll say for now! ;op So, up drinking til threeish, kinda embarrassing, told Mrs. Johnson I fancied our 21 year old tour guide Charlie...*blushing* but it was fun, EVERYONE (well, except the yr 9s and 10s, hu got tipsy but claimed they were trashed!) was drunk! Maddie jumped in the pool at about 2 in the morning and Mr Bullen was just...well...funny as! Day five- woke up, all feeling just a little the worse for wear, off for boat trip to Tossa-yeah good joke, lets go on a boat trip on a rough sea with 71 hangovers! lol! shopped a bit, then back by boat to Lloret and to Burger King for lunch, wahoo :op-I think its nicer in Spain y'know! Then back to hotel, wait for Mr Bullen to be rescued after collapsing with heat stroke, how inconveniant eh? lol! then packing coach and off home. Fucking awesome week, unforgettable! we'll all have to visit Barcelona one day, its the coolest place, and its huge!!!! despite all that, it is good to be back tho, if you've read all of this I'm grateful and congratulate you! :op
see you all soon! ciao for now xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx :o)
