Stars don't exist in Toronto . . .

They shy away from city skies, it's bloody annoying. You spend your whole life taking for granted that they're there, then one day you look up and actually realize that they aren't there. Everyone says they aren't, but it's a whole other thing to finally notice when the stars are gone, then wish they weren't. I totally had that moment walking home today, looked up and saw four, four stars, that's it, and I'm pretty sure one of them was a satellite. Made me decide that one day when I'm older, I'll move out to the country like my parents.

The stars go away at night to party in the countryside, that's where the real action's at.

I guess for now it doesn't really matter, since in the city you spend the majority of your time indoors anyway. Thats where teh internetz is, and video games, and work, and school, and everyone else oddly enough.

I suppose when I go home this weekend for Thanksgiving I'll be spending my nights outside looking out at the stars. I haven't done that in a while and I miss them. Esther will be coming too, so it'll be nice to have company while I'm out there. Country nights in fields and forests can be a little scary when you're alone. I'll bring my DS for a night light, the Elite Beat Agents will protect me. XD
