oh say can you see......
happy fourth of july everybody! well, actually it is now the fifth since it is 12:41 am. but hey, i'm still awake so it still counts as the fourth. yeah.
so today we went to the zott's house for a fourth of j party. it was like their family and aunts, uncles, cousins, and then us. but hey, it's always like that. we practically are a part of their fam, because they invite us to all their fam get-togethers. anyway, angela had to leave, so i ended up playing euchre with the guys. well, actually it was me, their two guy cousins, and the grandpa. and man did me and steven kick their butts. awesome. and man is steven a CUTIE!!! holy crap he is sooooo cute. but he is like 21......yeah. he actually went to ndp, but he graduated in 2002, so nobody that i know would probably know him. but he is fricken adorable! i wonder if he has a girlfriend......
anyway, then we went to everest to watch the fireworks at the park across the street, but they were postponed until tomorrow because of the rain. so we decided to go around to the back of the school and shoot off some of our own. you know, like the kind that you have to buy in ohio because they are illegal in michigan. they were pretty sweet. there were a few duds, tho. there was one that had a slight malfunction...it flew out of the sides instead of up like it was supposed to, and there were like 3 lit firework thingies flying right at us. they like circled around uncle chris and he had to dive out of the way, then they went over the fence and finally went off....in the grass. pretty funny. there was a convention going on at the same time, so we met who i think is an ecyd coworker from guadalajara, mexico. anyway, it was fun. then we came home. it is raining. i love when it rains at night in the summer.
tomorrow is my bro's b-day. wow. he is growing up so fast!! i cannot believe he is 14!!! i remember the night he was born, i had to stay at the neighbor's house, and i layed on the couch while the mom rubbed my back, and i watched teenage mutant ninja turtles (because that was the only thing they had) and there was a fly on the tv.
