things not to do with your laptop (by Sarah):
1. throw orange squash all over the keyboard.
this is at number one because it appears to be an important thing to the working life of my laptop that i do not cover it in a sticky orange drink. somebody should really have warned me about this before i had a glass of said drink next to my laptop. i think, oh journal readers, that you are smart enough to guess what happened next.
so i took all the keys off and dried it with a cold hairdryer, but it is still behaving thus:
iT aDDS CaPITaL LeTTErS SeeMINglY At RANdOm aND SoMEtI Es MiSS S O t iMpOR ANt leTTerS.
which is unfortunate.
any suggestions?
my hubby is taking it to work to air-clean the keyboard, other than that the only thing i can think of is to replace the keyboard.
