(no subject)
After class, I decided to enjoy the lovely day by taking a walk/shopping down Dickson and The Square. I went to a little overpriced boutique on West and then to Mason's, another overpriced boutique. So that was nice, but on my way back I had a few issues. I definitely almost got run over by a car. *Yet another reason that SUVs are bad* The guy started backing out when I was behind him, because, I assume, he couldn't see me in his rear view mirror. But he apologized and didn't actually hit me, so I'm still alive. *Breath a sigh of relief* Then I went into this used book store that looks incredibly deceptively small from the outside. I went to use the bathroom, and when I went to wipe off the seat (because that's what I do), my sunglasses which were hanging on my shirt fell into the toilet. Go me. For such a dinky kind of place, the bathroom was really clean -thank God, so I washed them and -yes- put them back on. Judge if you want, but I was not about to walk all the way back to campus squinting. It's REALLY sunny. I did actually get a pair of shoes out of my outing (hehe) at this random little store that's only been there for a week. Yay! And that was my afternoon. The end.
