It's been a while...
Well, what an interesting week and a half it has been for me. There was Christmas, and going up to the farm and new years… OMG 2006. Weird!!! First off, CHRISTMAS!!! I got spoilt!!!
From dad I got some CD’s. (Missy Higgins - the sound of white, Shannon Noll - Lift, Anastacia - Pieces of a dream {greatest hits}and *gasp* Robbie Williams - Intensive care.) and I also go a huge towel with a black panther on it.
And from our neighbour I got a scented candle (which smells so good.) and a Madonna DVD. I think I’m gonna take it back, no offence to Larine but I really don’t like Madonna. If it was her old music then yeah, but it’s a documentary on her life so, nah. And then Georgina came around and I showed her what she got me and she said “who did you get that from?” I just laughed.
From mum I got 2 CD’s (Green day - American Idiot and Kelly Clarkson - Pieces of a dream.), a Homer Simpson clock (the second hand has a donut on the end and his eyes follow it.) a DVD player.
From Rhiannon I got an Essendon cushion. Which is so comfortable.
From Dianne I got a necklace and a bracelet which are both blue and I love. I just need to buy some earrings to match and I think I know just the ones.
From auntie Trish, Stan, John and Claire I got two compilation (sp?) CD’s and the “gotcha calls” CD.
So as you can see I got spoilt!!!
The trip to the farm seemed pretty long but not as bad as last time. It felt a lot longer and this time my ears didn’t pop at all.
It was so hot up there so we went for swims in the dam and I copped a few cuts and bruises from cobber when he decided to swim up to me. There was one day when it was 46 degrees and we decided to drive up to the dam. After a while we got out to let the birds have a drink… bad idea… we got sunburn actually I think it was windburn. But it was cool.
There are things here that I miss and there are things there I miss like I want the family there and the sunsets that we get there are amazing!!! You would never get them here. Like on the last night that we were there the colours in the sky were amazing!!!
