(no subject)
it's nice being done school and being able to just hang around my apartment with the boyfriend and the cat for this past week. it's been a true break. however....i'm getting bored. which is a clear indication that i have had a real break. hahahaha. i always know when i get bored.
i miss real school though. i'm not going to lie. college just isn't challenging me enough. i mean, i loved my abnormal and developmental psychology classes....and even though my professor for anatomy was INSANE i enjoyed that too. it's nice to know on a non-chemical level how the body works. i mean, yes a lot of it was review, but the course was taught by a nurse at the london health sciences centre...and she was pretty good and knew her stuff really well. but nonetheless, she was bonkers.
so rory moved in with me a couple weeks ago after landing a job in ilderton (where i show horses a lot of the time in summer). he's waiting tables at the king edward pub and tavern. and if you're in the area, i strongly suggest going there because the food is absolutely amazing!
i've finished up most of my christmas shopping too. which is good. i've gotten more than one gift per major-person on my list. the only person left to get more for is dad. this is not helping to go along with the notion that giving gifts at christmas just leads to a downward spiral of buying and buying and buying without actually knowing if the person will like what you get them or will actually just be sitting there thinking "well...it's the thought that counts". i've gotten my dad a sandwich maker (which he asked for for christmas in september when i moved out and took mine with me).
anyways....
if anyone who reads this will be in the goderich area next thursday, aka the 27th....or if you have a break and want to take a road trip....i run the jam night at wicked willy's in goderich. and it's been a pretty good time the past few weeks. so this is an open invite....you should all come. all.
anyways, i should bathe and get on with my day. i can't believe it's already noon.
