This picspam is made for my fanfic 'It's only just beginning'. It concentrates on a few scenes from the fic.

There is an unsceduled off-world activation of the Stargate at the SGC.
Moments later Atlantis picks up a huge explosion located at Cheyenne Mountain.
The SGC is gone.
General Jack O'Neill is once more in charge of the Stargate program.
He decides to recruit new people and starts with an old family friend, Lt. Colonel Sarah MacKenzie.
A few days later Jack and Sam are reunited in Atlantis.
Both are happy that they are alive, but sad about the loss of so many friends.
A bit later potential new recruits arrive for tests.
Among them are Lt. Colonel Sarah 'Mac' MacKenzie, Captain Jason Becker, Captain Rachel Berenson, Lieutenant Cassandra 'Cassie' Fraiser and Jack's clone, Colonel Jack O'Neill.
Lt. Colonels Cameron Mitchell and John Sheppard observe a self defense training of the new recruits who have to fight Teal'c, Ronon and Teyla.
Afterwards the new recruits are divided into teams and simulate missions. Mac, Rachel and Becker are on one team.
Their 4th team member accidentally activates an ancient device during the mission, which triggers an alarm.
Colonel O'Neill's team just managed to save a hostage - Daniel Jackson - and complete their simulated mission when an alarm goes off.
Then a bright light suddenly appears after which a man - Lieutenant Aiden Ford - and a Wraith appear out of nowhere.
Stephen Hart is stuck in a room full of dinosaurs, predators and other dangerous animals, when a light errupts. Then he suddenly finds himself somewhere else.
After the alarm was triggered Mac's team is joined by John Sheppard, Rodney McKay and Laura Cadman who come to figure out the source of the alarm. Then a flash of light errupts, bringing dinosaurs, strange creatures and a man with it. Together they kill some of the animals, while others escape.
Aurora's 1st officer Sheila Trebal and her sister Sharon are on the way to the Aurora when a bright light appears.
When the light fades strangers are suddenly in Atlantis and shoot at them.
On his way to join Teal'c and Vala to patrol Atlantis Cameron Mitchell hears shooting.
Noticing two women in danger he helps them and gets them to the infirmary because one of them was shot.
Talking to Sheila Trebal Cameron finds out that the women are ancients.
After barely escaping a dinosaur Amelia Banks recruits team, which is lead by Major Lorne, is joined by Ronon and Teyla.
Together they attempt to bring the new recruits to safety when a bright light appears.
Fred Burkle is working at Wolfram and Hart when a light errupts. Then she suddenly finds herself in a strange place with demonic creatures who seem ready to attack.
But luckily humans arrive and save her.
The rift is active and Captain Jack Harkness desperately tries to close it. Then a bright light errupts, after which he finds himself in a different place, facing a dinosaur.
While patroling Atlantis Teal'c and Vala discover a man and a dinosaur. Teal'c stuns the dinosaur with a zat gun. Then they are attacked by a future predator, but manage to kill it.
Vala and Teal'c then take the injured Jack Harkness to the infirmary where he is reuinited with his friend Martha Jones who apparently has a new job.
On their way to get the injured Stephen to the infirmary John and Mac's recruit team run into a dinosaur, a predator and some Wraith.
The ancient device emits light waves. Rodney, Sam and Cadman try to deactivate it, but can't.
Jack Harkness tells them about the rift and they find out that the device gets it's power from it.
But can they deactivate the device and close the rift before it is too late?
The rift starts to act up in Rose's alternate reality as well.
While checking it out Rose has the feeling that she found a way back to her own reality.
Turning into Bad Wolf she and Mickey travel through the rift back home.
Once there Bad Wolf closes the rift, which also shuts down the ancient device.
On his free day John saves a woman from being run down by a bus, but gets hit himself.
The woman, Dr. Addison Montgomery gets John to a hospital.
In the hospital John meets someone he believed to be dead.
Mac, Becker & General O'Neill are talking in the control room when Jonas Quinn arrives.
Jack Harkness takes Sam, Daniel and Cam to Torchwood Cardiff to organize a cooperation.
While there Jack packs and says goodbye to Gwen because he will work for the Stargate program now.
Before Jack leaves Gwen tells him about 2 prisoners and takes him to them.
Recognizing Rose and Mickey Jack lets them out and takes them back to Atlantis with him.
While Sam and Daniel work out a cooperation with the Arc Becker and Stephen visit their old team mates, who are rather surprised and happy to see Stephen alive.
John, Cam and Rodney try to work out a cooperation with Torchwood London. There they meet Lois Habiba, Sally Sparrow, Ianto Jones and run into deadly alien angels.
Fred and Lorne bond and she decides to try and join a team while stuck in this reality.
While waiting for the Doctor Rose and Martha spend time together.
Mickey then tells them that he signed up to join a team and Jack states that he requested Mickey and Martha for his team.
Hearing that Cam is being treated in the infirmary Sheila is worried about him and glad when she finds out that he just has a few minor cuts and bruises (from his encounter with the angels).
On his way to visit Elizabeth in the infirmary John sees Sheila up close for the first time and recognizes her as the ancient that was impersonated by a Wraith on board the Aurora.
Elizabeth has been in the infirmary with memory loss since John found her in the hospital and brought her to Atlantis.
Her memory is slowly starting to return and she feels a deep connection to John.
Upon being released from the infirmary John takes Elizabeth to her room where she kisses him.
Although enjoying it John pulls away, feeling that he failed her in the past and can't take advantage of her now that she doesn't remember it.
He then runs off, leaving a bewildered Elizabeth behind.
New teams have been assigned. SG-1 (Cam, Daniel, Vala & Sheila) are on a mission when Jaffa surprise them and take them prisoner.
When SG-1 doesn't radio in in time SG-2 (Sam, Teyla & Jonas) & SG-5 (Mac, Rodney, Cadman & Teal'c) go on a rescue mission and bail SG-1 out.
On their mission SG-3 (John, Stephen, Becker & Rachel) stumble upon a village.
Due to a misunderstanding the villagers believe that Stephen attacked a woman and want to execute him for it.
In an attempt to save Stephen and the rest of her team from the villagers Rachel morphs to elephant and later bald eagle.
During their mission SG-4 (Lorne, Ronon, Amelia & Fred) encounters the new enemy and attempts to take them prisoner for questioning.
