why did i ever think i was any good at art? i am terrible at it, and everyone else's work in my watercolor class is a million times better than mine. my teacher isn't teaching us anything. I'm not learning anything. I'm painting blindly and i have no idea how to do this. my paintings are horrible. my colors are garish. and then i go look at everyone else's and somehow then manage to have created delicate graded pastels. i don't even know if i'm supposed to dip the brush in water before or after i put paint on it.
