new york and connecticut was fabulous. i think i was meant for hilly land, and areas with lots of trees. we stayed in new canaan connecticut and it was absolutely beautiful. saw more expensive cars in one town/area than i see driving around charleston in like a year. saw so many beautiful humongous homes. my brother lives in a cottage on someone else's property and it's really cute. their next door neighbor is so afraid, as the story goes, of getting kidnapped and killed, like his business partner, that he has armed security at his gates and fence 24/7. it was kinda funny. they have chipmunks up there and they are so cute that i wanted to catch one, but they're really fast and i hear they bite. i thoroughly enjoyed my trip, and hope that one day that i own a beautiful home in the countryside of connecticut.
on another note, i love getting good grades, it's a feeling i had not experienced for awhile prior to this semester. i just got back three theatre grades: 50/50 on a quiz, 98/100 on a project/presentation, and a 100/100 on my midterm. hell yeah.
