this is generally what people write when they get into college, but i think this is relatively exciting so i'll just write the first few lines of letter:
Dear Sarah,
Our Admissions Committee has reviewed your application for our Community Service program to Grenada for this summer and we are happy to accept you for the program!

the packing list is really interesting (what a weird sentence). i have to get biodegradable shampoo and hiking boots and quick-dry pants, just to name a few very un-sarah items.
and i hope the people on my trip are basically the exact opposite of most of the people that go to yj (with a few exceptions, like amy and swern and tammy because i luuurve them), which i think is likely because all the japs at yj would never go somewhere where they couldn't straighten their hair.

oh, and it's really nice out. and i love the houses on and around beach street.
