Well, I went to see Harry Potter. I'm kind of disappointed and I don't think it was even owing to the fact that book 3 was my favorite. Too much changed at one time and so many important things were left out and really unimportant things got added in. I don't know. I thought the spirit of the book got lost. Not to mention that I adore Hogwarts itself and it's a huge presence, practically a character, in the book and so much about it as the physical setting for the story changed. I don't *dislike* it or feel like my money was wasted, but I am a little let down. At least I saw someone who was echoing my sentiments, so I didn't feel like a tool for not loving it.
In other news, if someone knows of someone who was extra tickets or tickets they don't want or whatever for the guster/ben/rufus show on the 8th, would you please shoot me an e-mail? boogiewoogiesheep@hotmail.com I'm all set, but my friend Tim really needs to go, so I'm tryin to help him out.
Update for anyone interested in the medical health department: Turns out I have a clot in my brain which they caught on the MRI. Not the stroke-causing kind, they tell me. I was told it's something they see in cancer patients, pregnant women, and people who've been dehydrated - which I was when I was so sick. So they can't tell whether it was the cause of all the headaches or whether it was something that developed *during* the whole mess. I'm on blood-thinner to get it taken care of. The headaches are gone and I feel fine. And again, thanks for the concern, it's meant a lot.
