New Computer

My new computer, minus the 200 gig HDD. I already have a 200, so I'll be going with an 80 (40$ less) and I'll just carry around that as my external instead.

From Greenlyph:

Processor: AMD Athlon-64 1.8Ghz - $209.88
Amd is kicking Intel's ass for gaming chips these days. If you wanted
to spend a bit more money, I'd go for a faster Athlon-64, or ideally
one of the Athlon64 X2 (dual cores)

Motherboard: ASUS A8N-E S939 PCIe NF4 ALC850 LAN - $138.88
ASUS makes some great motherboards capable of SLI (dual video cards)
but unless you're going all out with two top-of-the-line cards, it
makes more sense to go with a single high-end card than two
middle-of-the-road cards. Hence the single PCI-Express ASUS board.

Graphics Card: eVGA GeForce 6600GT PCIe SLI 128DDR - $171.88
A good card, and faster than the 256mb GeForce 6600. If you want
something better, my suggestion would be the GeForce 6800GS, if you
can get your hands on it (it's what I've got in my new comp). The ATI
X800XL and GeForce 7800GTX are both amazing cards, but rather costly.

Hard Drive: Western Digital SATA 200GB - $109.99
Optical Drive: Pioneer DVR-110 16x +/- Dual Layer DVD Burner Black (1year) - $53
Case/PSU: Antec SLK 1650 Super Quiet 350w PSU (1Year) - $79.85

Subtotal at Greenlyph: $762.48

From MysteryByte:
Buffalo / 1GB / 400MHz / PC3200 / DDR / CAS-3 / Limited Lifetime - $106

Total with taxes: $998.76

I might have to sell my laptop, I'm not sure.. but it is so worth it. Thanks Doug and Shawn :)

Off to play Wow!!
