Avengers assemble!!!

I am more than aware that I have been lazy for not posting this long...
My female semi-cousins blanket is ready and well on its way to her...
After having finished this one, I have been working on a knitting project that I started a while back. A cardigan-ish sort of thing that's gonna have raglan sleeves and a hood, but no seams... I am really looking forward to the day that I will finish this one, since I suppose that it will end up pretty awesome... I'm using a yarn on it that alternates between three or four different shades of purple... When I saw it in a shop I loved it so much that I bought 20 balls of it, but it took me nearly two years to find a pattern to make with it. It did not turn out well, so I pulled it apart again and started this project instead. Regarding the progress I make, I suppose my talent doesn't amount to zero when it comes to designing patterns...
I also already started my male semi-cousin's blanket and have the first colour finished. I have the second yarn-colour here and all the other yarn ordered except that for the edges and will continue crocheting once I have the second sleeve for my cardigan prepared...

I am totally looking forward to Saturday... I have spent this weeks' nights so far rewatching all of the Marvel Cinematic Series (MSC) movies to prepare for watching "The Avengers", but I can't watch it today since I want to watch it with my mom and male semi-cousin. My mom is working tonight and my semi-cousing is not free tomorrow, which is why we'll go Saturday. On the pro side, this leaves me enough time to rewatch "Thor" again today, simply because, as I have lately discovered, Tom Hiddleston is just as hot as Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman are. Furthermore, Saturday means chinese food before cinema... Oh, and remind me to buy one or two glasses of my fave applesauce with mango to tale to the cinema... That stuff is better than candy, I assure you!!!

After placing my birthday amazon-order one month early I am now rereading "The Hobbit" to ready myself for december, when the reason for that misinterpreted mayan calendar (which is actually a movie countdown) is finally on screens... While I was at it I also bought LotR again, so that I now own it in both, german and english... I intend to read it right after "The Hobbit", if I feel like it... On the other hand, I might just as well read a bit Sherlock Holmes first... (Isn't BBC's "Sherlock" awesome??? Can't wait for Season 3...)

Pics will be edited later, or put on a later post...

Now I'm off to drool over Loki^^

Live long and prosper,
Sarah
