Mario, Link, "Schnullerbacke" and Walt Disney

OK, I admit it is still gonna take some time, but now that I have all the Squares for my Mario Blanket, it slowly but surely gets closer and closer to being finished...sewing all the Squares together takes quite an amount of time. Estimating based on my current progress I could, if I worked on it each day, be finished in a little more than two weeks. I can sew together one line of squares a day and attach it to those already done, and I have done and attached three by now. Given the fact that I don't work on it each day, it will take more than the two weeks mentioned above, but it will get done eventually...

My pseudo-cousin (male) voiced his opinion in favour of Link (Legend of Zelda), so I will most likely have to make a blanket featuring Link for him... He seemed to favour Link with a sword rather than a shield, so I'll probably end up having to make lots of teeny-tiny two-round Granny Squares, because the blanket would get way too large otherwise... I'll probably mix that up with larger ones in the background someway...

Furthermore, I finally eached my pseudo-cousin (female), so her blanket is also on the way... As soon as we agree on the basics, I'll order the yarn, so that I can pick it up when I visit my friend by the end of the month...

I just finished watching "Lady and the Tramp", which will be released on Diamond Edition BluRay this very Thursday here in Germany... I fellt the need to watch it tonight already, so I put the DVD I made from my old tape into the player...
I just love Disney movies!!!
Still, I do not know whether I should by all happy-giggly, or rather disgusted about the thought of "Tangled Ever After"...

I'm still working on finishing up the task of reading most of my cheesy romance novels with the pretty couples on the covers... I have too many of them lying around unread...

Live long and prosper!!!
