Saturday and Sunday
Hi all,
Well last night turned out to be an awesome night. I met up with Aderyn, Lisa and Co at the Caxton Hotel. Mum dropped me off which was great! We had a lovely dinner and then had drinks upstairs. The music there is really great. When I went to the bar for the second time, there was this tall guy who I thought to myself.. "I know this guy". Anyway, he approached me and said.. "Hey Sarah, how's things?" Turns out it was Alex who is a high school teacher in Hughenden which is an hour away from Richmond. He was there with Miranda who also taught there, then along came Adam and Lee (the HPE Teacher). It was great catching up with them. Talk about a small world though. Out of all the pubs/clubs in Brisbane the Hughenden mob had to be at the same place I was at!! Miranda transferred down here half way through last year and is at Camp Hill SS. Anyway, she is off to London on the 26th December and will be staying for up to 2 years as well. Talk about a coincidence!!
Aderyn's best mate Chantelle wanted us to leave the Caxton and head over to the Down Under bar. That place was absolutely packed to the rafters!! I wasn't happy at all!!!!! Anyway Brie, Cam and Bunk were partying on in the valley and I messaged them to say where I was and they came and met us at the Down Under bar. After we had enough of that place we then headed onto The Port Office. At about 4am, we said we'd had enough and then we were walking past The Vic where I ran into John McCauley, Smitty and Ross. They were with a few of Ross's friends. They all asked how you were Zo and I was very surprised not to see John Cowley out with them. Apparently he's being a good boy and is off the drinks now! Good Boy John!! ;)
We said goodbye to them and then were famished so we decided to buy something at Maccas. Brie was trying to be funny to the bloke in front of him, and the guy turned around and tried to pick a fight with us all which wasn't nice. He was shouting out obsenities and we just ignored his pathetic behaviour when suddenly this idiot tried picking a fight with someone further on down the line and got knocked down to the ground and you should have heard the head slamming onto the concrete. The cops soon got there when were leaving. I felt a bit sorry for him being hit so hard, but he really did deserve it.. The boys waited for me to get a cab home and then I came home and went to sleep.
I overslept this morning because it was about 6am when I did finally manage to get to bed. Got up, showered and dress and Leith (Yr 4 teacher from school) came to pick me up and we went to see "Three Dollars" at the Palace Centro. We had a coffee before the movie started and had a good catch up..
The movie was very strange indeed. The acting was good, and the little girl in the movie was so cute.. I think she was in the LJ Hooker ads.
When Leith dropped me home I noticed a 'For Sale' sign up on the neighbours front yard. Not the Crawford's but the other side of us. I've been wondering why they've taken an added interest in cleaning up the yard and fixing up the pool. I'll be curious to see how much they'll sell it for.
Anyway, I think it's time I went to bed.
