Lately my stress level has been off the charts. Not only is it reaching the end of the semester and professors are piling on the work but work takes up all of my free time and my loan money is quickly disapearing.

I had to work every day this week. I usually work every other day during the week and on the weekends but I took a trip to Ohio with my family and had to make up for my lost hours. It just so happens that this week I had to prepare a presentation for one of my classes and write a 6 page paper for my lit. class. I had no idea that i could squeeze those huge assignments in the few hours of free time I had. Lucky for me, i'm a woman and i can multitask like no other. I was amazed at my ability to write that paper, balancing my laptop on a stool while I was at work and when I did my smaller homework assignments during my group presentation meetings. It's been so hard to find time to even eat a good meal.

Something interesting that happened at work yesterday: Aaron and I were written up. The store has been having a horrible week and leave it to my manger to blame the part-timers. On average, we make about $1200 in commison as a store a week. This week, we made about $300. On the write up sheet for both Aaron and me it says "Sarah/Aaron have not reached their goals, Aaron/Sarah need to improve on every aspect of his/her sales methods". Fuck that. Is it my fault that I've only had about 2 customers this week and they've all been old, tight-asses? my manager told me that our regional manager is coming to talk to us next week about it. I'm already thinking of things to say. He says that if we don't improve, than he's going to take it to the "next level" which means firing us. Well, good luck training another person during the christmas rush and good luck finding a part-timer whose not a complete, fucking idiot.

Today, I took my cats to the vet to get declawed at 7:30am! I hate taking them to the vet because it always costs me so much money. It's probably going to cost us around $200 to get them both declawd and for Josie, the kitten, to get her shots. i really shouldn't be spending this kind of money but we are moving into a new house soon and in order for me to have nice things, it must be done.

Speaking of our new house, I don't think I've mentioned it before. Well, we're renting an awesome house starting May. It's probably more than we can afford but everything is more than we can afford so it really doesn't make a difference. It's an old historical house with a huge backyard, garage, shed, sunroom, and blah blah blah. To say the least, it is nicer than anything Aaron and I could have ever imaged for our first house. We are meeting our new landlord for lunch at Panera Bread Saturday to sign *drum roll* THE LEASE! we also have to pay her a good chunk the money we have left for the deposit and the first months rent.

It was nice to vent a little but I need to get back to listening to my Mythology prof. lecture about Roman Myth.
